RSPCA Cats for Re-homing

IF YOUR CAT IS MISSING, OR YOU HAVE FOUND A STRAY CAT PLEASE TELEPHONE THE RSPCA BRENT KNOLL CENTRE AND REPORT IT. WE MAY BE ABLE TO HELP RE-UNITE CAT AND OWNER OR GIVE FURTHER ADVICE.

The cats are at Brent Knoll Animal Centre. To view our cats please come along during our opening hours.

If you see a cat on the website that you are VERY interested in then please do give us a ring. We can put a temporary reserve on that cat for you. This means you then have that day or the next day to come out and meet the cat. (All children aged 14 and UNDER in the house MUST meet the cat).

ALL children & adults MUST be at the home-check should you go for a FULL reserve on the cat.

Adoption fees for Cats & Kittens: £75.00

This adoption fee includes Micro-chipping, Neutering/Spaying and up to date de-fleaing and worming.

Maggie Ref WC4152

2 years old (approx), Spayed Female.

Maggie came to us as a stray.

Little Maggie is a tiny cat, she was quite shy initially but has come on very well.

She is a bit worried about being picked up so will need a patient and confident cat loving owner to help her overcome this!

Cats - Unknown, will probably be ok.

No Dogs

*CAT OF THE MONTH*

Missie Ref WC4166

6 - 10 year old, Female.

Missie is the prettiest cat ever, she is my absolute favourite in the cattery.

Missie has had a horrific few weeks. She was found as a stray in a very poor state - tangled up in barbed wire. She needed surgery to remove the  wire and was then brought to the cattery where she received lots of TLC! Unfortunately the wound struggled to recover so she needed yet more surgery to re-stitch the wound. Thankfully 2 weeks later the wound had healed and the stitches were removed.

Despite all what she has been through, Missie remained so cuddly, friendly and gentle natured.

She really deserved a new home with someone that can give her the love she craves.

Missie would be ideal for a retire person/couple.

Cats & Dogs - Unknown, she may be ok with a very quiet cat or dog.

Children - Older Teenage/Quiet

*CAT OF THE MONTH*

I'VE BEEN RESERVED!

Patch Ref WC4157

5 year old, Spayed Female.

Patch came to us as a stray.

Sweet little Patch is a pretty and fluffy girl. She likes attention though is quite an independent cat that likes attention on her terms!

She's not overly keen on being picked up, she will tolerate it but only for a short time! She mainly just likes to come to you and follow you around!

No Cats

Dogs - Probably not, though may tolerate living with a calm/quiet dog.

Children Teenage+

Star Ref WC4051

3 year old, Spayed Female.

Pretty little Star has quite a quirky character!

She loves attention and fuss but will let you know if she's had enough. She sometimes will lash out or nip you if your hand is too close-  to tell you off.

She is going to need an owner that will be happy to live with a cat that certainly knows her own mind. Please don't be put off Star because of this as she really is a nice cat. She just gets very stressed in new places which doesn't help this behaviour. With a committed owner we are sure that Star can settle in a new home very well.

Star has recently had a mild bout of diarrhoea of which has now settled down. She is currently being fed a dry food diet called 'Arden Grange' of which can be purchased from us.

Ellie Ref WC4140

4 year old, Spayed Female.

Poor Ellie has had a tough time. She recently has been living outside as she did not like the other cat at her previous home. It has taken her a couple of weeks  to adapt to indoor life in a cattery.

She really enjoys cuddles with people she knows. New people she is very wary of and usually hisses at them. This will make her quite hard to home as anyone interested to meet Ellie will be new. Please, if anyone is keen to meet Ellie it would be ideal to visit several times so she can get to know you.

Ellie is a big ball of fluff that requires plenty of grooming which she's not keen on. Owners will need to be patient and work with Ellie a lot to help her overcome the dislike of grooming!

Neutering

Where possible we neuter all cats. If the cat you select has not been neutered at the time of the adoption you will receive a Neutering Voucher. Full details of the voucher will be explained to you during the adoption.

Micro chipping

As part of the adoption fee, we microchip all cats prior to adoption.

Liquorice Ref WD4184

2 year old, Neutered Male.

Just look at that sad little face! Liquorice is a sweet little boy, he is friendly and easy going.

Liquorice came to us as he owner could no longer keep him.

Liquorice likes to go outside in a garden however he does not like to go to the toilet outside, he likes to use a litter tray indoors like many cats do. So his new owners MUST provide him with one.

No Dogs

Cats - Unknown

Children - Poss 10 years +

Joe & Cole Ref WC4044 & WC4045

6 month old, Neutered Males.

These 2 cheeky chaps came to us after being found in a shed.

Joe & Cole have recently had a mild bout of diarrhoea of which has now settled down. They are currently being fed a dry food diet called 'Arden Grange' of which can be purchased from us.

After a few weeks in the cattery they have settled in very well and love to run and play when let out into the main cattery!

Cats - Yes, however as they are on a special diet it would be easier if they were the only cats in the house to prevent them eating food they shouldn't!!

Dogs - Unknown

No Children, though maybe ok with older children. Joe & Cole can be a bit shy.
