'Hope' The Rescue Dog

These are pictures of ‘Hope’ who was brought into our Locking Road Office on 16 May.

She was crammed into a cardboard box and was barely alive.   She was found just off the A370 (we believe she was just left to die). She was rushed to the vets and stabilized, which gave us hope (hence her name. The North Somerset Branch of the RSPCA will do everything to save her.

Hope with her foster family one month later!

Here she is, just four weeks later, out for a little walk with Scott who looked after her while she was at Bridge Vets in Highbridge.  Her remarkable recovery is down to the wonderful care she received after she was admitted and her own will to live.

Bridge Vets became her foster family as well as her life savers! They did such a wonderful job with her.

Hope with her NEW family, 2 months later!

Exactly two months after Hope was found she was ready to go to her new home. Her weight had increased from 7.8kg to almost 20kg and, as you can see, she thoroughly enjoys the company of her new canine friends. Despite the dreadful cruelty she must have endured, she has remained a remarkably trusting and happy dog.
